My "big piece" for Painting I. We were stretching canvases ourselves, and he wanted us to do something special on it. I don't remember what Camic said that made me want to do a place to get away. o.0 But here it is.
I remembered reading Whirligig by Paul Fleischman, and the last whirligig he builds is near this lady's house. It looks nothing like this and is in a slightly different locale but nonetheless, I find whirligigs interesting and that book was good. The hardest part was the whirligig itself. I've never painted something with such particular shapes that could alter the very look of the whirligig itself if they're not right. I'm still not satisfied with it. xD But I love it anyway.
