Made for my boyfriend. He saw the D'haran emblem from Legend of the Seeker and thought it would make a good wallpaper. It isn't my best work but I didn't want it to get like those stupid wallpapers for TV series with screenshots from the show and tacky over-decoration and fonts. I just wanted something simple because I know he'll have it as his desktop FOREVER. I didn't want it to hurt my eyes. Made in Photoshop. They got D'harans EXACTLY right as far as uniform and overall feel for their symbols and colors in the show. Their leather armor is probably the best armor in the show. This particular emblem is taken from the metal icon on the front of an officer's uniform in the episode about the artist (one of my favorites, btw.) The show is definitely "based" or "inspired" by the book, not a direct interpretation. Personally, I like the books much better. But that's largely because I read them before hearing about the series and think that they were much more developed and made more sense. They really should have involved Mr. Goodkind a lot more than they did... Although, I do take the show for what it is, not what I want it to be, and it is a wonderful television series. Thank you Sam Raimi. And thank you Terry Goodkind even more for your fantastic series. :3 Feel free to use! D'haran Emblem belongs to ABC/Disney (because technically it's from the television series.)
